Union Shining Stars of 2003-2004
The Shining Stars are a JV Dance team, even though we have only freshman on our team right now. The varsity dance team at Union is the Highsteppers. You can see more about the Highsteppers at the Highsteppers' site, or see more on the spirit program at the Union Spirit Program site.
The Shining Stars currently have 17 members, and even with a small team we always have great routines with jazz, novelty, kick, lyrical, and sometimes a little pom thrown in. We are under the direction of Lauren McGuire, who was herself a Highstepper. Our performance season is over, but check out the JV team next year or see if you spot any of us on Highsteppers! |
